Why AI Mills exists.
Europe's competitiveness in AI depends on compute it controls. Today most of it sits on infrastructure governed by foreign law, mostly outside of Europe, limiting digital sovereignty. A Dutch location alone does not fix that.
AI Mills exists to build complete sovereign AI factories in the Netherlands, financed by a Dutch cooperative, built with world-class partners and run by a Dutch team. Infrastructure first, then a marketplace and agentic services on top of it, so that value created here stays here.
AI Mills started with a simple observation: Europe was building its AI future on compute it did not own. AI Mills is building sovereign AI infrastructure in the Netherlands in order to change that. It is our mission to provide the Netherlands and Europe with powerful AI factories, supporting European innovation with compute under 100% Dutch ownership and operations.
